[polldaddy poll=1286292]
The MoJ tell me that 65% of issued cases involve personal injury claims.
The Association of Northern Mediators survey shows only 2% of their mediations involved personal injury.
This is an enormous mismatch and shows that personal injury layers appear to be lagging far behind their lawyer colleagues in adopting mediation as a method of dispute resolution. If you are a personal injury claimant or insurance lawyer I’d like to know your view, please take a few seconds to vote in the poll, I’ll publish the result when there is a meaningful sample.
