You know it's time to mediate when …

There is no absolute answer to the question “when is the right time to mediate?” in personal injury and clinical negligence compensation claims. Here are a few indicators though. Ask yourself these three questions :

  1. Does my client want to settle?
  2. Have I got enough information to negotiate a settlement?
  3. Has the last offer been rejected?

If, in true Britain’s Got Talent style, you get three Yeses then mediation can bring an early resolution to the claim. Contact your mediator and give it a try, your client wants to settle and you’re ready to negotiate.

Don’t take no for an answer. If the other side reject your offer to mediate do not let their reluctance deny your client the opportunity of an early mediated settlement. We have ways of making them talk!
